I am getting one of these free (actually already got Knocked Up, but was thinking about returning for TMNT) and was wondering which has better replay value? I have not seen either movie.

Knocked up is one of the best movies in a long time, huge replay value. Its a movie I can watch over and over. TMNT isnt bad but nothing I would watch more then a couple times.

Keep Knocked up. GREAT movie.

That reminds me of my Army days when Austin Powers was released; I was deployed, shared a room with 5 other soldiers and we had that film in a loop for over a month. It was even playing when we would go to chow and knew no one would be in the room for hours. Some films are just that way.

Back on Topic: I've not seen the new TMNT, but I can say that Knocked Up is probably the best comedy of the year.

Knocked Up IS the best comedy of the year hands down. I was never a comedy person until this movie! Seen countless times and never get sick of it.

Hate to say it but Knocked Up is extremely overrated. The whole film seems so improvised and much of it is not funny. The constant swearing does not help either. 40 Year Old Virgin was much better.

I haven't seen TMNT but I can't imagine returning Knocked UP for it unless you're 10

Knocked up is awesome. Except for the birthing scene it was more graphic than the CoM one.

Comedy of the year though is definently Superbad. Jonah Hill is hilarious.
Plus it has the single greatest joke about male anatomy ever. ever.

Knocked Up is good, although I wouldn't call it "replay material". Yeah it was an entertaining movie, but hearing the same jokes over and over would get kind of dull. I have never seen TMNT (has been on my Netflix queue for a month or so now), but in defense for Knocked Up, it has a ton of bonus features.

We watched "Knocked Up" last night. It was surprisingly ok for one she added to the Netflix queue ;), but I certainly couldn't imagine watching it again.

TMNT, its a great demo piece and I like knocked Up even tho I tght I wouldnt but for me most comedies are only for repeated viewing about every few months (years) cause all the gags get old if you see it too often. So TMNT for me since I also like the movie.

rent knocked up, one of the most overrated movies I've seen in a long time. It wasn't that funny and the whole story was pretty boring. Tried watching it again and couldn't shut it off after few mins.

TMNT, if you're an old school turtles fan, it's a godsend!

Thanks for all the responses. The only reason I was thinking TMNT is for good demo material as I love the way these animated titles look and usually sound. Still undecided, but will probably stay with knocked up.

All I can say is that Knocked Up was not as funny as I thought it was going to be. But, I have never seen TMNT. You decide.

I Haven't seen Knocked up yet, but I'm somewhat skeptical. Not sure if it can live up to the hype. My girlfriend said it was great, but sometimes I wonder about her sense of humor. (she didn't get Anchorman...) ;)

TMNT is a great film (especially for those of us that have been fans since the 3rd grade). Great quality picture, as well!

Both IMO are decent movies with decent replayability. TMNT is better demo material though. And Knocked Up is definitely overrated around here. IMO it's a coin toss.

Another Knocked Up Vote. I have both. Ive seen turtles twice and Knocked Up 5 times. Nobody chooses to see ninja turtles when they look at the shelves of movies...

Knocked Up = a great comedy, thought 40 yr old was better though, but thats not fair - 40 was one of the funniest movies I've seen in years...still, KU is a different movie, more on the cute\funny side than raw comedy, I loved it nevertheless, plan on watching both of those flicks many more times over the years, plenty of replay value IMO.

I agree. Knocked up wasn't very good. Barely worth a rental. Maybe it's funnier if you're high and/or your vocabulary is limited to four letter words? I can't imagine watching it again.

I'm usually all over comedies like Knocked Up, but other than a few parts, I thought the movie was overdone and very drawn out.....40 Y.O.V. was much better.

I'm not sure why people seem to like Knocked Up so much. I watched about half of it before realizing that I hadn't laughed once, so I didn't finish it. I guess I missed the good part... :rolleyes:

I've seen both Knocked Up and TMNT and I think the bottom line is what you are interested in.

Comedy = Knocked Up
Action = TMNT

It's not like you're comparing Knocked Up vs. Superbad or something like that, so it's just really what you want.

Even if TMNT is a disguised version of Barney the Dinosaur, I'd have to rate it higher than Knocked Up. One laugh in the whole movie, implausible story, and horrible acting/casting.

Just for good measure, I'll reiterrate in language the movie's characters might understand if they ever sobered up.
