CPanther95 10-28-07, 01:19 PM Don't know if I missed it last week, but they've got Down, distance and field position indicators in the HD portion of the score ticker at the bottom.
Still wish they'd just eliminate it - or limit it to a few times an hour.
E-A-G-L-E-S 10-28-07, 01:27 PM There is NO 1:00p.m. game on CBS here.
D* Allentown, PA
OggideM 10-28-07, 01:33 PM Steelers-Bengals looks amazing ... KDKA via Comcast , 61"dlp
probably the best looking CBS game so far this year.
E-A-G-L-E-S 10-28-07, 01:44 PM Anyone know where there is a D* thread I can ask why no games is being shown on CBS @ 1:00 P.M. here?
CPanther95 10-28-07, 01:50 PM Not very impressed with the Steeler game via NFL ST.
Boy, the Colts are really struggling.
CPanther95 10-28-07, 01:59 PM I guess the key to beating the Colts is to just keep Manning off the field. ;)

Looks like it doesn't matter if he is on the field or not. 3/11 33 yrds so far for Manning.
E-A-G-L-E-S 10-28-07, 02:21 PM Colts have won ugly in all but one of their victories thus far. They will win it in the 4th quarter.
CPanther95 10-28-07, 02:21 PM Drastic difference between OTA (WBTV Charlotte) and NFL ST. Looks like not nearly enough bandwidth on D*.
E-A-G-L-E-S 10-28-07, 02:23 PM St?
Colts have won ugly in all but one of their victories thus far. They will win it in the 4th quarter.
And so have the Panthers. They too are built to win in the 4th. That is what makes this a great game.
E-A-G-L-E-S 10-28-07, 02:25 PM They are not on same level ;) And I hate the colts.
CPanther...so your OTA looks better than the ST superfan HD version?
They are not on same level ;) And I hate the colts.
On ANY given Sunday. Colts may win, but not just because they are the Colts.

Right, that has nothing to do with it I agree. It will be solely because they are not on the same level. In other words the Colts are a much better team. And this is a sandwich trap game for them and a bye week game for the Panthers, so they are rested.
CPanther95 10-28-07, 03:10 PM CPanther...so your OTA looks better than the ST superfan HD version?
Significantly better.
E-A-G-L-E-S 10-28-07, 03:14 PM I wish I could get a signal here. Damn mountains.
Good antennas are pretty expensive too.
Mike4HDTV 10-28-07, 04:10 PM Watching Bucs/Jags via OTA in Miami (WFOR). PQ is outstanding and Audio (DD5.1) sounds great.

I agree watching on WWJ in Detroit via Comcast.

Those have been there the entire season.
If they insist on giving us the scores of all the game I prefer the way FOX does it. They have the scores in the Fox Box at the top. CBS' score bug may be smaller but FOX puts basically all the same information, that CBS has in the bottom bar, in the top bar.
tonyd79 10-28-07, 09:17 PM Anyone know where there is a D* thread I can ask why no games is being shown on CBS @ 1:00 P.M. here?
Got nothing to do with D*.
CBS is showing one game in each market today. They picked the Jets (you are not far from New York) and picked to avoid the Eagles on Fox at 1pm. (They may have even had to do that. What channels do you get for CBS and Fox. I know there is no CBS in Allentown. Do you get NY, Philly or Scranton?)
E-A-G-L-E-S 10-28-07, 09:33 PM Philly.
So why did CBS choose to only show only one game of only one time slot?
"picked to avoid the Eagles"...what does that mean?
Philly.

FOX had the DH so CBS can only show one game. The Philadelphia affiliate didn't want to show a game at the same time as the Eagles, figuring no one would watch it, so they showed a late game.
E-A-G-L-E-S 10-28-07, 09:41 PM Ahh...thanks guys.
