Anyway - I recently picked up a used Mitsu "Medallion - HD1080" series rear projection tv from a good friend of mine. (he's the one who suggested coming here in the first place...).

I'm looking for some help/guidance on tweaking the color balance on this thing. The reds are too much for my liking. The usual "tint & color" sliders aren't quite doing the trick. What I'm getting now is "passable & ok" but I'm looking to see if there aren't additional color tweaks I can do to it.

The unit is about three-four years old...56" screen (I think) I have Direct tv service. it does not not have 1080p capability, just 1080i (not sure that even matters, does it?)

At any rate; are there any threads/forums that address this model, and my basic question? Failing that, does anyone have any ideas? - I'm all ears.
