Is there any chance Dish will get Sci Fi in HD? I am looking for service in early 2008 (post holidays) and that is one of my must have channels. I am leaning toward Dish as start up costs are much cheaper with 2 HDTVs and most of the channels I care about are carried by both.

My local cable is TWC.:confused::mad:

My Crystal Balls says.....................NO

Mid 2008 is our best hope.

But my Crystal Balls have lied to me before :)

I thought that I heard that SciFi HD is stretch-o-vision. If so, it is fine with me that Dish Network says no to SciFi HD.

I believe, rather, that Sci Fi is presenting old programs either pillar boxed or both letter-boxed and pillar-boxed (borders all around). They're not stretching.

This is correct, no stretching.
