I'm ready for the holidays, I'm planning on at least 3 HD DVD player gifts to family members and friend and 3 HD DVD series and movies (Heroes and Matrix) at these prices these machines have become an easy choice :)..all I can say is WOW!

There is also the Sears Black Friday deal, an A3 for $169.
I plan on buying 3 players for my relatives (great for sharing discs) and one more for myself so all my HDTV have an HD player connected.
I think these low prices finally give the average consumer a chance to buy an HD player for their HDTV they bought this past year.
Also, my bet is EVERY major electronics store will have to have a sub $200 player for sale this holiday season to compete. They know that MAC (Mr. average consumer) is much more likely to buy at that price. Also, with other HD players priced at $400+, the perception is that $198 or less is a great deal.
note: Wow, I didn't mean to copy you heatfuego! I typed that at the same time. I bet most people are thinking the same thing!
