I was getting MAJOR dropouts this morning. Anyone else? Anyone?...Beuller...Beuller?

Audio's been fine for SmithsonianHD for me when I've tuned in, but then I was not watching it when you mentioned the dropouts.

However, it was most likely an issue @ the source, not with D*.

Wolfie, something to remember...
If it's just one channel doing it, it's probably not you.
That said, this does not bode well for how many people watch that channel

I have watched a few times in the past few days and not had any drop outs, but i haven't watched for hours on end. 30 mins here and there

Last night they had a D* banner up announcing technical difficulties.

I had 269 dropping out a lot last night on my H21 and also could not get a number of the new HD channels in the 200s. I also saw a banner saying they were having technical difficulty but not on 269. I have never had any issues and just had my dish repointed so I assume it was on D*'s end.

I don't know. I can't watch the Smithsonian channel because I am blinded by their logo.

i noticed some audio skips last night on cartoon net HD... but currently i have no issues with s- HD.
