Popped in my copy of Inside Man last night and noticed the problem. When I'm watching movies at night, I don't crank the volume so I don't wake anyone up. I use the subtitles in case I miss something that someone said.

So anyways, Inside Man has an invisible box that cuts off the bottom left side of the subtitles. This invisible box is also there when I go into the settings menu. It's hard to explain, but you'll see it immediately if a subtitle plays and there are a lot of words in one conversation. I am using an HD-A1 player with the most recent firmware.

I have seen the same problem on a few disks with the 2.0 firmware. I could solve the problem by upgrading to the 2.3 firmware. I did not have this problem with Inside Man using the 2.3 firmware.

You don't get the reference then. It's supposed to be Einsteen.
