Is this the general concensus.
I'd also like one (if not too much extra) that is universal, as although I intend to keep this proj for a while. I tend to be afflicted with upgraditis.

I'd also like something less expensive if possible. Or if you can point to a good retailer or ebayer who sells a good one for the best price.

The W10000 is a big unit and as such need something solid. I am using the Chief RPU which is a more precise version of the RPA . The chief mount are really no rocking and easy to align. The RPU unit with its micro adjustments is a real charm to use, fast and precise.

Beware of mounts that are made of steel. They WILL SHORTEN the life of your LAMP and PROJECTOR. We only use aluminum in the construction of the Infinity. Although it is more expensive than steel, it will save you money in the long run. Steel mounts trap heat near your projector and have a detrimental effect on your lamp and projector.

I think you should be more worried about the space left between the projector and the ceiling. In my case there is about 12 inches.
