I've been having problems for a while, now getting quite worse: When I use the remote to fire up the projector, it will come on upside down, and the color all screwed up (an off red color). I have to turn if off and back on manually at the link box to reset it to get it goine.

Has anyone else in the Sim2 world had this and gotten it resolved?

I sent it to Sim2 earlier this year when the bulb went got bad. They put an update on it too. I feel sure I mentine this problem to them before sending it in, but then, the don't have that in their notes.

At any rate, they way I need to send it in again, and won't indicate if they have any idea they can fix it, or if they've ever seen such a problem.

BTW, this has been going on for a long time. When it first tarted, they emailed me a new firmware flash that I applied, and it seemed to help for a while. Now, it is almost every time I start it up.

It happens to me all the time too, and I have the same projector.

Sometimes the sequence of turning off the source or the projector first affects it.

Interesting. Has it been something that has gotten progressively worse? That seems to be the case for me.

So, based on the source vs. projector first: are you finding that if you do one or the other it helps. Which seems to be best?

I"m not sure which turns off first for me. I have it programmed into a series of events on my remote. I can check but in the meantime, it'll be interesting to see what seems best for you.

I shut the source off first, wait a few secs then shut the projector off.
I think that helps.
