If this is the official thread, it should contain the most challenging criticism regarding the AE2000 I've heard to date, and future reviews should hopefully address this criticism:

LCD -- Panasonic PT-AE2000U -- Those at Cedia were not that impressed. Here is one review that is about "average" in evaluation:

Panasonic PT-AE2000U: Looked decent, slightly grey appearance to the picture especially compared to the DLP/LCoS based solutions we saw. Not bad but definitely not the best we saw.

With 2500:1 native CR (checked by cine4home @D65) and 400:1 ANSI contrast, the performance should be similar to DLPs with similar specs, like the IN82, which were not reported as being grey.

My AE2000 has shipped and should be here this Friday!
