One of the best films so far this year....I'm all over the HD DVD.

Definitely will buy, combo and all. I'm going on a trip around then, so I guess it's nice I'll have another combo title in my collection, as otherwise I'd only be able to bring 4 movies I could watch on my laptop (that are recent, at least. I stopped buying dvd's when I bought into hd).

Yeah this was one out standing movie!

The story was great and the action parts were amazing. I am sure we will get a great sound TrueHD track out of this with. The PQ should also be close to perfect!

I just think it's one of those movies where they are going to give it there best shot and making it look and sound great!

Never had the dreaded combo problem. Thank goodness and knock on wood! I will be getting this when it comes out. I don't think it is a December release I am pretty sure I saw some place that it was a Jan-Feb title along with "Heartbreak Kid". Also I saw another online listing for "Scarface", coming in 2008 so I think Universal has been at work on it.

The standout in The Kingdom was the guy who played Colonel Faris. I think I expected too much, but it wasn't great. A solid show.

Agreed! It is a pretty good movie and it has tons of bright daylight scenes that will look tremendous in hi-def! The movies audio also lends itself to be great demo material. Here's hoping Uni gives it the ole' TrueHD treatment. Im def getting this one!

Saw this movie today at the theater, VERY good flick, ought to make a hell of a DVD. Might be the best movie I've seen this year (though I am open to having that revised if I recall on ebetter).
