I was in Fry's (Sunnyvale) yesterday and saw the Spiderman box set that *WAS* advertised for $65.xx which was cheaper than Amazon. However, there was a sign that said $60.99 one day only. So even though I don't have a blu-ray player yet as I'm waiting for player prices to come down, I picked up the set.

Now I'm thinking of asking my friend if he wants a Spiderman party and we can watch (at least) S3 on his new 1080p set and PS3.

nothing wrong with being neutral...I tend to lean more to the blu side then I do to the red side...but I have both formats...my blu out numbers my red..I will purchase more red when the Samsung dual player is released...I have the 360 add on...don't care for the limited sound that I am getting from it(old 360..not the elite)

No doubt folks are buying software without even owning a player for either format at this juncture. As prices come down, more will eventually buy a player and more folks already owning one will perhaps go neutral.

The elite changes nothing, it is still limited to the same exact audio as the old 360. 2-Channel PCM at max. It cannot do lossless at all, regardless of 360 version in existance.

The 5.1 dolbydigital sound is great for halo 3.

And Warhawk
And Dirt
And Lair
And Heavenly Sword
And ...

Well, you get the idea. 7.1 PCM Lossless for PS3 games, 640 dd 5.1 for Xbox 360.
