Couldn't find this answer in another thread. I am going to have all of my devices hidden in a cabinet (maple door) besides projector and anamorphic lens (prismasonic).

I have run 2 long 1/8 cables from smart home for those two. My question is, I have more devices than 8 to use and will need multiple extenders I believe. Can I have one remote control 2 RF extenders in one location. So both extenders would be sitting in a base cabinet (think like a bathroom vanity type). I will have about 10 devices that will need controlled.

Also, will the standard 1/8" plug into the back of the RF extender.

Due to my wife being familiar with our other Harmony I would like to use this as opposed to URC if possible.

Thanks.

EDIT: also would the 890 pro be better or worse in this case?

The 890 can control multiple rf extenders, I don't remember exactly how many, I think it was 3 or 4.

But, based on my experience, I don't think you have to put one IR transmitter in front of every unit.

I would just buy the 890, and try it with the one that comes with it. Then, you can experiment with placement of the ir transmitters. They are strong enough so they don't need to be right next to the ir receiver for the devices you are controlling.

For this, I don't think the pro adds anything. I think I read here that the pro allows you to have multiple remotes, so you use two pro's at the same time, for the same devices, where you could only use one 890.
