Current 1080p LCD projectors were said to surpass the contrast of the HD80, and are priced similarly, so why opt for the HD80 anymore and suffer the notorious colorwheel and horrid placement flexibility ?

Anyway, if you happen to have a BB around with a Magnolia inside, they have them. There is one in Sherman Oaks in the valley that actually has one on display with a decent Dish signal and what looks like a 100" gray screen.

The picture is nice after some tweaking and I'd buy it if I had the $$.
