I don't remember the teams, but I can't imagine they would put programming on an alt. channel unless it was live.

Hmm, interesting. The only thing I can think of is it is some mistake in Houston or BTN will not be doing Alt. feeds in HD for non-marquee events (basketball and football).

I believe they plan HD for most events. I saw a bit of an Ohio State-Michigan women's volleyball game broadcast in HD the other night.

The basketball did look really good last night. I could get to become a fan.

Yes they plan to have tons of HD. They have had a few SD shows, but I believe that may have had to do with production truck availability. Most of the SD shows were during September when baseball was still going on. BTN had 3 trucks built for them by Mobile Television Group, which are doing mostly BTN shows, but I hear they are doing some other FSN shows as well. Those three trucks are doing most of the BTN shows with other trucks from Mobile Television and other vendors picking up a few other shows. The other truck vendors have been doing mostly the football games and not the Olympic sports.

The volleyball game was on one of the BTN HD Alts via E*. D* just didn't show it in HD.
