Oceans Trilogy to get a mega bashing by reviewers.

I do not understand at all why these new Ocean's won't carry any lossless or other advance codecs....

with Blu-ray and HD DVD this is just a dumb move on the part of Warner Brothers..

If you can offer a lossless track on The Shining or Clockwork Orange...whats the deal with movies that were made less then 10 years ago?

I kind of feel the same way. But I think these will look awesome in HD. plus Polar Express' audio has been getting good reviews. And most of the Ocean's movies are front heavy.

I just couldn't pass up the box @ $45.

I (and many others likely) ordered it at that price from the WB store with a 25% off coupon.

I liked the first one, but never got around to buying it on DVD. Heard great things about 13, and I know at least some people liked 12, so the box set at this price was worth a shot.

Don't care about lossless audio, so I'm looking forward to this one very much :D

Not sure if the 25% coupon is still active or not. They usually have a 20% coupon though. And free shipping with $60 or more. Their site seems to be down. The coupons should be in this forum somewhere though.

To answer the OP, "no" on Oceans. Don't know about the other two (didn't order those from there).

Yeah, I have every confidence that one of the largest, wealthiest media corporations in the world will be releasing one of their most valuable film assets of this year in a poor quality HD package.
