There are some companies that do this and a while back there was a thread on this topic. In that discussion, a link was posted to a Manufacturers web site for fabrics that could be used on large format ink-jet printers. There was a fabric that looked pretty promising and very similar to the SMX screen fabric.

The discussion was focused on getting movie posters or movie motifs reprinted on that fabric and used for acoustic treatments.

I can't remember the title of the thread so maybe someone can help.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that Chameleon Audio Canada, in Toronto makes acoustically transparent art. Big gallery to choose from, or send in your own digital pics or art to be printed.

They will custom frame for you or the cheaper route, because of shipping cost just frame it yourself. There are many framing shops around, and if not just get them to frame it for you.

Call (647) 406-7162 to get more info, or

search chameleon audio canada or just call. (site should be up by July 2008.)
