I am looking to get some polk r50's with a csi3 center i was planning on getting the r150 for the rears of my 5.1 system but i need something that will be able to be wall mounted and the r150 are rear ported and will not work. So i was just wondering if anyone had any other inexpensive options. Also I live in an apartment so in walls are not an option. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Bass from surround speakers is not necessary if you have a subwoofer. Many speakers these days come with foam plugs for the ports when they are mounted too close to the rear wall. Heck, the Polks may come with foam plugs just for that purpose. If not, stuff a sock in it (the speaker). :D

There are many rear ported Polks that have flush wall mount keyholes included on the back (such as the RTi4), so I am not sure that you will have a problem with that, especially since many of the seperate mounts you can buy hold the speaker a little way out from the wall itself.

If you have doubts, contact Polk Audio customer service: they are excellent at answering questions such as this within 48 hours (e-mail) or over the phone.
