That's great news. I have little confidence in the inDemand HD sports package channels making it up on my system anytime soon. We did just get NFLHD (as well as FoodHD), however.

YES!!!

Just a day or 2 ago, nothing was indicated on the website that NBATVHD would continue on MOJO....

(they had their schedule set for a few weeks ahead... and no NBA at that point)

This is VERY good news :)

fyi - NBATVHD has nothing to do with the NBA League Pass HD games

The games also didn't appear in my Comcast guide until yesterday (Thursday).

anyone able to find a complete list of the games on mojo? clicking through that calendar is pretty annoying. If someone could post the complete list in this thread it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for adding that. I didn't realize this was just the NBA TV HD games. I got confused because I didn't see this sunday's Cavs/Suns game listed on the mojo calendar. should have read you first post better....need more coffee.

These games are subject to blackout restrictions, right?

Yes, NBA TV games are subject to blackout in local markets.

While there isn't a 'good' listing on the Mojo website for a list of nba games - this kinda works.

http://mojohd.com/search/?search=NBA+TV

(listed alphabetically... not by date... but its still useful)

Right now - its seems like the only time MOJO 'can't' show NBATV games is Sunday Prime Time.

The game looked good tonight on MOJO. Nice to have NBA TV games and NHL games on different channels (MOJO and Versus) so they can both be live.

I caught a couple of minutes of it and I agree that it looked great. In addition to looking great it sounded good for a change. It seemed like the audio was synched up with the action. I didn't see any shots of announcers talking to see for sure, but seemed much better than last year.

Looked good, but the image seemed a bit soft and fuzzy on some shots. Does anyone know if they're broadcasting 1080i or 720p? It looked like 720p to me.

I think ESPN still looks the sharpest, but NBATV looks better than TNT.

I think NBA TV is 1080i, however, most of their games come from the FSNs, so it usually would be 720p cross converted to 1080i.

They took the feed from HDNet, so it should have originated in 1080i.

Does anyone know why my cable provider would blackout all of the NBA games on MoJo? I don't have the NBA channel, is that why?

Most likely.

Yup, I hear you. I just meant that I'm happy I'll be getting some more out-of-market (non-ESPN/non-TNT/non-OTA) games in HD.

And I still have no faith my local Comcast will get the inDemand HD channels up anytime soon. Just hope they'll get it up and running by next baseball season!
