Hello all-

I noticed on my guitar controller that if I try a chord of green and orange together there isn't any sound. The fret buttons do show as 'pressed' but there is no sound when strummed. I thought it was just my control and was thinking that I would have to return it for another. But low and behold, a buddy of mine has the PS3 version and the same thing happens on his guitar. Then another buddy has the Wii version and the same thing happens on his. Is this normal or should we just put the crack pipe down?????

My green/orange chords register, not sure what the deal is

What song has a Green/Orange chord? I'd be happy to try it on mine, but I'm not going to start hunting on my own for a song with that in it.

I haven't seen the chord on any song as of yet, but I was just trying to enter in a cheat code for a "No Fail" ability.

There is a song with green/orange, on expert though, I saw it in a video on youtube but do not remember the song.

Off the top of my head, I remember there being at least a few in the Slipknot song on Expert.

I hate the detachable neck, it seems to have just enough wiggle so that my green fret doesnt register if theres enough pressure on the neck...lame

On the tv screen while trying to play the Green / Orange chord, you can clearly see that both buttons are registering at the same time as they turned a different color. The problem is that when I strum, there is no sound. I am trying to program the "No fail" cheat code and there is a Green / Orange chord to unlock this feature.
I can see if my guitar was faulty, but after seeing the same problem on a Wii and PS3 wireless guitar, I am scratching my head a bit.

I'm guessing you have a bad code.

I get no sound when strumming green and orange together in the cheat menu with the GH2 Xplorer.

Try using the X-plorer control if you have one. I was having trouble putting in the "unlock all songs" cheat with the Les Paul because it wouldn't play some of the cords right. Try that and let us know if it works.

it has nothing to do with your guitar.... try GRB, or RBO, or GBO, or many other combinations.... they just dont make a sound in the cheat menu, they probably didnt create sound files for them.
