you should look at the tier thread sticky as it has ratings of just about every flick on blu.

my personal fave is The Descent. you gotta like horror for that though.

Second that for APOCALYPTO. Beautiful and great sound. The jungle just comes alive like no other film on either format.

Casino Royale, Black Hawk Down, Underworld, Kingdom of Heaven, Chicago, The Prestige, Pirates of the Caribbean 1 are all good titles. Welcome to the BD-P1000 club!

I will 2nd all these suggestions, especialy Apacalypto. I also think the 2nd Underworld has some fantastic sound, and LFE in particular is better than the first movie.

Nine Inch Nails: Beside You In Time has an excellent TrueHD track.

Rocky Balboa, although at times a cold, bluish, contrasty film, looks stupendous to me.
Great film too.

2nd Underworld? The 2nd Underworld released? Or the 2nd Underworld released on Blu-Ray?

Underworld: Evolution is technically Underworld 2. :P

I also went blu a few days ago.
So far only 1 BD and 63 HD-DVDs so things will have to even out.
I have to save a bit as I maxed out my player budget with the PS3 this week.
But I figure I wil buy a good chuck of blu this year.
