No, the wired version will be included with the Xbox 360 Bundle.

It's my understanding that it wil NOT work with GH3, altough the GH3 guitar will work with Rock Band.

The Wireless guitar is preferred by most and will reportedly work with Rock Band and will work with GHII. I bought the package earlier this week and look forward to playing it tonight.

Yep. Look on the right side of teh package, it will have a picture of either the Les Paul or the XPlorer, buy the one with the black guitar (wired is white).

You guys are all confused, the Les Paul comes with Rock Band, the one in the bundle is Wired, the Wireless one will be sold seperately in January. The Rock Band Guitar has an extra set of frets for solos, and I do not think it will be compatible with GHII or GHIII.

The one that comes with GHIII is a Gibson. The one that came with GHII is the Explorer, and it is also wired.

The Fender Stratocaster comes with Rock Band.

At Wal-Mart you can buy a bundle that includes the old X-plorer guitar.

Otherwise, you should be getting a bundle with the wireless Les Paul.

You don't know much about guitars do you? The guitar that came with GHII is modeled after the Gibson Explorer, the guitar that comes with GHIII is modeled after the Gibson Les Paul, and the guitar that comes with Rock Band is modeled after a Fender Stratocaster. Gibson is not a guitar, Gibson is a company that makes guitars. Now you know and knowing is half the battle.

The wireless guitar does indeed work with guitar hero II.

I was at SAM's club today eating pizza when I spotted someone buying GH3 legonds with an Explorer(wired) guitar. I threw down my pizze and let the happy couple know what they where buying. They said that it was a gift and that they did not realize it was a wired controler(they knew the guitar was to be wireless). I am glad I cought them in time. It really makes me angery that Wal-mart (SAMS) would pull a stunt like that.
