anyone else really dig it? i thought it was just great

I just finished Ep1, and I will start Ep2 tomorrow.

EP2 was really great, but I will say this:

After HL2, EP1 and now EP2, I'm starting to get a familiar "been there, done that before" feeling. Don't get me wrong, I think the maps are still the best ones out there and I love the game above almost all other FPS's (this game still feels fresh and fun, whereas say the new FEAR game due out feels like more of the same in the demo..same locations, same construction sites).

Still, nobody tells a story like Valve...

i can understand that; if i hadn't played through hl2 a year ago i'd probably be tired of it

i dug the open enviros in ep2 and the end of the game fight was just great; i still find fighting the combine to be a bit bland though

played on hard, and it's really not so hard

ep2 was fantastic. I got a little worried at first when it seemed I was only going through tunnels and stepping on worms.....but after that, amazing. You are right, Valve can only tell a story like Valve does.

Bring on EP3!....and more portal maps
