I'm currently using a DVI->HDMI cable to connect my Macbook Pro to my Vizio VX37L HDTV which has a native res of 1366x768. It works great but unfortunately my Macbook isn't giving me an option to output 1366x768 to the TV (the closest option I have is 1280x720), is there any way to get my Macbook to output 1366x768 over DVI to my TV? Right now I either have to turn overscan on to fill the screen (which cuts off the edges of the screen) or turn overscan off which displays everything but leaves me with a black border around everything. Any suggestions?

The usual solution is to use either SwitchResX or DisplayConfigX. There's a tutorial here on SwitchResX, and it lets you use real resolutions during the trial period.
