Reason I want SD--> Video editing will be done and my two laptops lack any power to encode/edit HD quality video (I'm not getting a new computer anytime soon)
Reason I want built in HD--> For the most part it is easy....all media will be backed up on a hard drive and a DVD.....important films will be archived on in a second location.
Software--> Not sure on this yet but I want the Cam to be plug and play....no special software needed to get the video on the pc.
Budget-->$500 to $800
I've been looking hard at the Pan SDR-H18, looks good but it doesn't have a built in light or any type of night shot.....primary usage won't be at night but I want the option to be able to shot at night effectively.
I know Sony does good night shot but none of there models stick out to me.....
Anyone have any good ideas?
