hey, i was wondering if anyone can help me with the service screen. I attempted to adjust the screen and now im screwed. I did not write down the numbers so i could revert back to the original settings. i went into the service screen, would you have any idea on getting the factory settings back? my model is again MD30h82. Thanks

Greetings

Settings vary from set to set. That is the nature of these devices. Off the assembly line, a specific set of settings are used as simply a starting point, but each tV is fine tuned to account for build variances and goes into the box with different settings.

If you put in these base settings ... they will not work for your set and they effectively work for no set off the line.

Best just to describe the problems and we might be able to help you fix your mess.

Greetings

Look for controls called HPOS VPOS for centering.

Look for controls called HIT and WID for height and width. (HSIZ VSIZ)

A THX optimode disc has centering patterns to help if you don;t have any real test disc.
