Hello, I have somewhat of a strange issue with my new Panasonic PX77U plasma (the costco model). I've tried looking for info, but its a difficult problem to search for. Here goes...
Occasionally (so far just twice), I've noticed a stuck white pixel at the very top of the screen towards the right corner - but only on ESPN HD. When I change channels, the pixel goes back to normal. Flip back to ESPN HD, and there it is - on the top row of pixels. When I adjust the aspect ratio while on ESPN HD, the white pixel adjusts with it. That led me to believe it was a broadcast issue - however - both times I tried turning my tv off and on quickly, and the white pixel vanished.
I've never encountered anything like this, and I don't know enough about TVs to know where the problem is (whether its the tv, cable box, broadcaster). Has anybody experienced or heard of anything like this?? Any help would be fantastic. Sorry this is so long, but it seems like a strange issue to explain. Thank you!
Edit: After looking at it again, when the white pixel shows up, the entire top row of pixels left of the white one are near black. Turn the TV off and back on, and they all go back to normal. Again, they only do this on ESPN HD...
