I currently am replacing a 51inch Hitachi CRT 720p set. I might do some PS3/360 gaming occasionally, some Blu Ray and some HD DVD viewing occasionally but mainly want to watch over the air HD football. I have a few questions,
1) In my room I use a 42d64u Sharp Aquos 1080p which has the cleanest picture once calibrated I have ever seen. Can I expect a similar picture on this Samsung?
2) I have regular cable and really only watch sports. I just wanted to make sure I will be able to get over the air HD Channels like my other TVs. Fox, CBS, NBC, ABC exc.
3) Does this unit have any problem passing 5.1 through optical to a reciever for over the air broadcast?
4) Anything else I need to know?? Thanks everyone! Its not to late for me to cancel and grab the Samsung 4665 LCD. I will be getting this Plasma for several hundred cheaper so wanted to make sure everything is in order.
