Downloaded firmware 2.0 on my iMAc yesterday, transfered it to thumb drive and installed. Everything worked fine, set up some themes and played around. Tonight I am trying to watch Spider man trilogy and I turn on PS3 and get no video, but I do get sound. I am using HDMI to a monoprice 5x1 switcher, samsung DLP TV. MY HD DVD player works fine still through the switcher, so I have ruled that out. I have tried holding down the power button while turning it on and reseting it to default. I get video through composite input, but when I try to switch to HDMI in settings the screen goes black after I press X and I switch to HDMI on TV and get nothing. I have tried by passing switcher and that won't work. The PS3 sees the HDMI cable because when I turn it on it says PS3 cable has been detected. I click yes to let it go to HDMI setting but get nothing but black screen. Never had a problem with this POS before this FW update. SOny IS NOT taking any phone calls right now regarding the PS3 on their 800-345-Sony phone number. I am so freaking mad. Anyone have any ideas for me. LIke I said, HD DVD player still works with HDMI using switcher.

Go into your PS3 video settings and make sure the HDMI 24hz Output option is disabled. That's caused people some problems before after firmware updates.
