Now if you want something very portable, you can pick up the Sanyo HD1000 for around 750 dollars and it uses SD cards. Golfer Guy 11-11-07, 03:28 PM Hey Asiarush, I was in the same boat as you and ended up getting the Canon HV20 for $850ish after all was said and done. We had our first baby boy in the beginning of June. I love the Canon and have gotten a ton of use out of it. This might be sacriledge on this board, but I actually ended up taking a lot more short video clips with my Canon SD800IS digital camera in video mode than the HV20 only due to its small size and always being in my pocket. The quality doesn't compare at all with HV20 but was more than adequate (actually was great!) for the video clips you send to relatives and post on your website. Just a thought. Congratulations! Your life will never be the same! |
