Since upgrading to PS3 firmware 2.00, my media streaming has gone to pieces. Using a mac with ethernet and leopard...it was fine last week !! Perfect on HD media.

The PS3 is announcing it has DNLA errors (error message about DNLA complaince in XMB), and streaming stutters on HD content that was previously great. I highly suspect SONY not eyeconnect which was updated for leopard. I have confirmed I am using WIRED connection, and that computer is online and visible to other computers in my house yet i suffer:

Poor visibility of media server from PS3
Random disconnects from PS3
Stuttering and stopping on PS3
Inability to fast forward video over 1.5 x speed, where I used to use 120x w/no issues.

Freezing in XMB seems better since i switched off information bar

anyone else?

I don't have that particular issue, but after the update the PS3 can't see my iTunes playlists via EyeConnect. This used to work perfectly, now I get there are no titles.

OS X.4
EyeConnect 1.1

I have problems with mp4 files with h264 codec. Now it say's "corrupted data". I use tversity btw. Sadly you can not put older version of firmware back , so we have to wait fixed firmware.

Conversely, mine has never worked better; I am now streaming with almost 100% perfect results, eyeTV programmes from my iMac to my PS3 using eyeConnect 1.5 -wirelessly. This has happened since the release of Leopard, not so much eyeconnect 1.5.

I can't speak about audio streaming as I never use it (Airport Express takes perfect care of all those duties).

On the other hand I have noticed something that has been introduced since either the release of 2.0 or Leopard 10.5.1 and that is that most of the controls on my BT remote will no longer operate eyeTV streamed recordings (with the exception of stop and start).

I hate having to sit through all the adverts.
