My setup
AE900 - need to replace it (iris problems)
Room - 12 x 24ft - 12 ft ceilings
Screen - 11ft. wide on the 12ft. wide wall
Window - northern light next to screen
Screen type - Behr ultra pure white (need "screen" to "disappear" when PJ is off)
Viewing distance - 10ft.
Throw distance - 18ft.

My apartment is a small New York apartment (550 Sq ft) so I do not have the luxury of a media room and I don't want to use space up for a TV or a PC monitor.
1. Would the AE2000 make text from my PC noticeably clearer than the AX200?
2. Would the AX200 be too bright for this setup?
3. The AE900 is a bit dim in ambient light is the AE2000 any better?
4. Which would you recommend for my setup?

Any advice you could give would be appreciated!

1080p would really clean up the text on your PC. It would also for all intents and purposes eliminate any SDE. I'd say get a Sanyo Z2000 for 1.5x the price of the AX200, rather than the AE2000 for 2.0x the price, plus it has a 3 year warranty not 1 year.
