Apologies if I am missing something basic but have been struggling with this all afternoon. I have a ceiling mounted new panasonic ax200. 120" screen about 14.5 ' back. When aligning the image on the screen with the test patterns the top is not as wide as the bottom. In other words it does not seem to be a perfect proportional 16x9. The top will have a sliver of black on both sides while the bottom will have (the green alignment bars) running onto the frame on each side. I have messed with the keystoning but that doesn't seem to be it.
Is there an adjustment that just does the top width? Any thoughts appreciated.

If the bottom is wider than the top it means the bottom of the lens is closer to the screen than the top of the lens.
Tilt the projector down.

Thank for the reply. Oddly the opposite is currently true. The arm is canted back a little and the projector is tilted down in the front so that the bottom of the lens is about an 1/8" back from the front. I read in another post about how it seems strange that these have to be tilted down so much to get a straight image.
I did have it totally square and the image was very high but still also had this slight offset. It may be a small amount of the curve problem others had.
Currently the bottom right and left run the positioning mark about 2.5" into the felt while the top has about 1/4" black on both sides. May have to live with it but I now others here can relate to wanting it perfect

I wasn't thinking properly when I said: "If the bottom is wider than the top it means the bottom of the lens is closer to the screen than the top of the lens." Actually, the opposite is true.
Sorry for the misinformation.
As you already noticed, the tilting down of your projector is what is causing the problem. If your projector is totally square to the screen and the image is too high even with the lens shift at its maximum, then you must physically lower the projector.
