Any basketball fans looking for a fix may want to check this out:

Amazon has the recently released 2k8 for only forty bucks. Odd, a price drop already....guess 2k needs to spruce up sales over the holiday. Good for gamers anyhow :D

EDIT: Apparently I can't figure out how to link amazon product pages :p Anyhow, go to Amazon and search for NBA 2k8 on the PS3.

NBA2k8 is a great game!

Even better is that it will be $28 at Target on Black Friday! :)

Unfortunately, several fistfights may occur while shopping at Target on Black Friday. Normally, I try to stay away from all of the maniacs who have camped out waiting for Black Friday deals. This $40 deal on Amazon looks good though. I may have something to add to my Christmas list.

I don't think you need to get to Target early in the morning for a game like NBA2k8 and I've never had problems going to Target on black friday. Last year, it was easy in and easy out. I think JD23 is exagerating a bit....

It all depends on where you live. Big city Targets can get pretty crazy on Black Friday! Almost as bad as Wal-Mart....

Unfortunately, I had to go to CompUSA last year on Black Friday to replace a DVD drive that happened to break on Thanksgiving. It was a complete zoo and the credit card machines broke, resulting in more than 30 minutes of standing in line. Let's just say I will never shop on Black Friday unless I am forced to.

You'll never see me shopping on Black Friday, either. Time with my family is more important to me than saving a couple of bucks by getting up before the crack of dawn to go stand in the cold and watch people trample each other like a bunch of morons. Amazon.com FTW.

Targets aren't to bad as other stores. But Black Friday is FUN, Its the thrill of the HUNT!!! Make it a family shopping day then go out for breakfast or lunch and dont expect to get everything you want . Come home and put up the Christmas decorations.

Yeah..Black Friday in my neighborhood is crazy!! I live in the Philadelphia suburbs. I mean Kohl's..for goodness sake.. has hundreds of people at 3:00 a.m. If you want to shop for the deals on Black Friday in my neck of the woods..you have to get to the stores at 2:00 a.m . I have Target,CC,BB,Kohls,Toy's R Us, all within 5 miles of each other and they are all packed by 3:00 a.m..it's crazy. The stores open at 5:00 a.m. It's usually not a problem to get in..it's trying to shop, with the store way overcrowded, and getting out:D.

This is a good deal and I would not even consider Black Friday for this one purchase. Black Friday advice around me is..if it is a big seller..forget it. If not you can go anytime of the day and get it for the black friday price. Last year I walked into cc at 3:00 p.m. and got a $100.00 wireless router for $10.00 after rebates.

I don't think you guys get it. You could walk into Target on Black Friday at basically ANYTIME during the day and get NBA2k8 for 28.00. If you think people are waiting in line for a game like that, then I'd say that is way off.

I've actually done this the last two years. I've picked up lesser known games on discount in the middle of the day at Target or Best Buy. Best Buy was busy, but Target was not at all. At Target it was just like any other primetime hours in the store.

I kind of agree with you here, people do not line up for a item like this. But if people buy a ps3 on Black Friday and want a cheap game to go with it..there it is. You most likely will find the game at target at a later time..but you never know. It really depends on your location and the population in a given area. In my area, I would not count on this game being at my Target later in the day.
