I just picked up the Mits HC1500 and loving it. Coming from a Infocus X1a this thing rocks!! Can someone give me some good calibration settings until I am able to pick up a copy of DVE or Avia.

You're better off using THX Optimizer while you wait for your disc.

There is an article/review on the HC1500 as well (I can't remember where exactly, maybe Audioholics) that has some recommended settings to try. I used those settings as a starting point, then popped in a disc with the THX optimizer to further dial things in. The results were good enough that I'm in significantly less of a hurry to hunt down a copy of AVIA or DVE.
