It says on there not good on sear's home electronics, if that makes any difference. If not, thats a pretty sweet deal.

K-Mart is accepting copies of the coupon (at least the original) for PS3 hardware (not sure about copies in all cases but I've read plenty of accounts of people using the printed out version instead of the original coupon found in a pamplet located in K-Mart's pharmacy section)

Emailed a pic of the coupon to my parents today, they printed it out and picked up a PS3 for $320. So it definitely works. They also still get the 5 free movies and of course Spidey 3 in the box. And since a lot of people are now having problems using printed copies of the coupon, the original coupon comes from a pamphlet in the Kmart Pharmacy. I walked into the pharmacy section, got a coupon, walked back to the electronics section and made my purchase.

60gb has full backwards compatibility, 80gb is about 90% BC because it has to software emulate the PS2's Emotion Engine.

The coupon applies to pretty much anything in K-mart (few exemptions lined out on the coupon). The reason for the 40gig excitement is that it gets the PS3 to the lowest price you can find right now. There is nothing keeping anyone from getting the 80gig for $400 though. :)

It sure seems to be which K-mart you go to.....picked one of the 40 gig models yesterday using a coupon I printed out ....no problem at all...hooked it up...all is working well...no problems at all using wireless connection to get the update off the internet.

Between yesterday and today. We have purchased 4 40g ps3's at our local Kmart. I just printed them on regular copy paper. We also purchased a few games as well. It worked, with no questions asked. The clerk even made the comment that, "this is the best way to buy a ps3 with the rewards coupon".

If I end up using this it's gonna be the ultimate test of "will they take a copy?" because the only printer I have access to is my schools black and white laser printer.

She checked with a manager and he confirmed it. You do need to bring the coupon with you, so I think you need to get a hold of the actual coupon and not a print out.

no luck at my kmart. the manager came and wouldnt accept the printout. they wanted the original, and was no where to be found in the store. (this store didnt have a pharmacy, so i could not find the ad with the coupon). he claimed he was not aware of such a coupon. long story short, i got my 40gig from BB with the discount and LCD from walmart :D

I bought a 40 gb'r yesterday. Had the coupon printed off from the internet link (on a color laser) and went into the store in Arvada. They had no 40's left so he looked and found 1 left up at the 104th store - he called and had them hold it. I go up there and get it and the guy scanned the bar code on the printed coupon and it worked fine - pulled up the register and everything. Then the 2 clerks start arguing over who gets the "bottom" coupon good for next week. Bought Ratchet and Clank and and an optical audio cable. It's sweet! Watched Transformers on regular DVD and did some setup - stayed up way too late!

I got a 40gig at mt local K-Mart here in Whitehall PA last night. I was in there earlier in the week and they didn't have any in stock but they told me to stop back later in the week. Last night on the way home I swung in. They took the coupon from the color print-out I made no questions asked. BTW I had to ask to get the nice fellow to get one out of the back....just a 60gig in the case. Now I have a 20 and a 40!

I really wanted the 80gb with Motor Storm and my closest Kmart didn’t have any in stock so I had BestBuy price match the coupon. I picked up Warhawk at Circuit City for 20% price match as well. No issues or hassles anywhere. Hope to use more coupons for Rock Band and Mass Effect on Tuesday.

As excited as I was about finally being format neutral, my 80gb runs much louder and hotter than my long dead launch day 360. I really think I should return it immediately. Is this at all normal for the PS3? I don’t remember this ever being an issue with the system.

Yes, Best Buy and Circuit City, no problem at all. A BB manger was standing right there to authorize the PS3 purchase. FYI, Kmart does not come up in their systems as a competitor for price match so they used Sears (same company).
