There is a sticky in the flat-panel forum about the perfect flat panel furniture, and I found it extremely valueable when I made my purchase late last year. In that thread, there is all sorts of links to media storage furniture, tv stands, ...etc. However, I'm in search of a DESK to go in my office. On one side of the room I've got a media cabinet/tv. On the other I'd like a desk to mount my computer and store additional electronic items.

Any recommendations on manufacturer's? I don't want cheap furniture, but the room isn't that big, so I can't fit a lot of the nicer furniture I do find.

Interesting. I have shopped on-line extensively for some way to combine a computer workstation with my stereo set up. Here's what I have found:

Before spending 2 or 3 thousand on one of those, I'm considering having a cabinet maker build me a console that will hold my computer (a Mac Mini with an Alien DAC) my McIntosh integrated amp, my turntable, and my monitor speakers.

I looked at IKEA, Pottery Barn, Matin & Zeigler, Taytrix, Room & Board. None of them have the WOW factor or functionality I want. Also, I do have some rack-mount equipment to use in some of those slots. I still can't decide!
