hello everyone, I have been looking for a TV I can take back home with me, back home we use 240 voltage, and PAL. I keep finding some really nice deals on TVs but I need something to be multisystem, I heard somewhere here that Panasonic produces their TVs to be multisystem, but I can't find any, I really would appreciate a really nice TV that would work back home cause TVs there are so expensive.

this thing has 1080P and an amazing price from Amazon, I wouldn't mind paying a little more than this price to add multisystem capabilities

Hey Jericho,
This section of the forum is for front projectors. Pretty much all the projectors discussed here will do pal. The 240 v I'm not sure of. Specs for specific units are listed on projectorcentral, a website that has specs on pretty much all projectors sold in the US. If you are looking for a tv, you should check the rear projection section of the forum, too. I don't believe there are any flat panels (lcd or plasma) that are over 60" and under 2k. Hope this helps.

thank you so much, I hadn't realized I posted on the wrong forum. Also, I was talking about rear projection HDTVs, these can be had for under 2k, I just want a multisystem

Jericho2250,

Several years ago I recommended a projector to a neighbour who was moving to Europe for just this reason. Virtually all modern HT projectors are both multi-standard for video signals and power. The biggest advantage is that you can put it in your carry-on luggage when you move. I don't think I'd want to ship a flat panel, or especially an RPTV to PAL land.

BTW, our former neighbours abosolutly love their projector, and have been using it both for their old NTSC dvd collection as well as what they've aquired while abroad.
