Hi,
I am asking for an 80gb PS3 for Christmas. I plan on using it for BD, SACD, and gaming. Are there any must have accessories I should ask for?
Thanks!

If you plan on watching a lot of movies i'd get the remote for it. Other than that theres not really any must have accessories. Maybe a wheel if you like racing games.
guess it depends on how you define accessories
HDMI cable
HDMI switch if your tv only has 1 input and you have it used
router
-exta controllers
-BD remote works great.
-BD headset if you do online gaming
HDMI cable as it comes with no HD cables what so ever which I don't get you'd think they'd atleast include commponet

Thank you for the replies! I have HDMI cables and I'm using a Pioneer Elite VSX-94TXH receiver...so no need for a switcher. I'll add the remote, controller, and headset to my list.
I definitely plan on playing a lot of Gran Turismo when it comes out. I'll have to look into a wheel.
THANKS!!!
I'd hold off till the DualShock3 hits before getting another controller.
I personally have really started to like the silicone gloves for the Playstation controllers. They're sold at Walmarts, Targets, TRUs, etc. Plus most of the gloves come in kits that also have a 10ft USB cable that will be very handy when you need to play while charging.
And definitely pick up a Bluetooth headset like homerx suggested.
so's your face

wireless keyboard if you plan on sending friend invites or other messages. the alternative is point and click text messaging with the remote which is a pain in the tail.

The MadKatz thumb keyboard is nice if you want a keyboard but don't want a full size one laying around... It clips on the controller and I've had pretty good luck with it. It runs about $30.
