Hello,
I have a plasma TV with a Wii (connected via component cables), HD-DVD player (connected via HDMI), and cable box/ PVR (also connected to the TV via HDMI). I have one of those single speaker virtual surround setups but I am planning on going with a traditional 5.1 setup. I am planning to buy an A/V receiver with at least 2 HDMI inputs.
My question is:
I plan to connect the 3 peripheral devices to the receiver the same way (wii-via component, HD-DVD player and PVR via HDMI). To connect the receiver to the TV-- is a single HDMI cable (from the receiver to the TV) be all I need? The Wii signal (Wii-->component cable --> receiver --> HDMI --> TV) will be displayed without any problems?
