Is this product yet available? I noticed Amazon has (2008) attached to the title:

The backstory is the original AVIA that I had came in a case with a tricky release tab where the DVD snaps onto. I mean LITERALLY SNAPS! As in, it cracked the AVIA DVD and is useless now.

I would like to get the original 1999 AVIA just for old times sake, but is the AVIA II NTSC version a worthwhile update?

I am actually curious as well. I just lost my AVIA copy. I normally scour the home to find thing when they are misplaced, but if the Avia II version is better in all aspects why bother? My time is worth more.

How does it compare to GetGray and DVE?

$25 + $8 you need a photocopy of your current avia disc, so if you can't find it I am sure some great avs'er will email you a scan of their original, I would my self but I have no scanner.

Why it is not yet available on Amazon, I don't know.

Edit, I just looked a little closer, the regular DVD is available now, HD-DVD, BLU-RAY, & pal is comming soon
