Optoma looked at the date the invoice was printed and not the sale date (which is on the invoice as well) and rejected my rebate. I emailed them, but there is no phone number to call. Has anyone experienced a similar problem and got it straightened out?

Well i called the rebate center that they use and the mistake was fixed. phew!

will they accept the rebate if you purchased from bestbuy? I got it while the rebate was in effect but I had heard that you cannot use rebate if bought from bestbuy...if anyone got the rebate and purchased the hd70 from bestbuy...let me know.

The rebate form says right on it not for Best Buy, Bestbuy.com or Circuity City and Circuitcity.com
