I did a search on the web and in here and got no results.

Does anyone know why Netflix doesn't have this title yet? It's been out for some days now.

I called netflix and they couldn't explain it beyond saying they don't get all titles right away.

I guess a better question is, "Does netflix not get all new releases on release day?"

The answer to the question "Does Netflix not get all new releases on release day" is a definite yes. Sometimes there is a lag before they have them in the HD formats for whatever reasons of supply or internal policy is unclear.

Netflix offers new releases on the same day the retail stores do. If they don't have it, it's because it hasn't been shipped to them yet. Blame the distributer, not Netflix. Also possible that the distributor is holding back the rental copies for a different release date, which has happened before. Trying to force you to buy it.

well, here we are more than a month later and still no aviator at netflix. my only concern is that it's an oversight on netflix's part.

i don't believe netflix because i tend not to believe most CSRs (from any company) these days. they are poorly trained individuals with very little information. most seem just to punch in terms in a database and read back to you whatever comes up. if nothing comes up, they make up an answer. people here are always much more knowledgeable than most CSRs.

I could not find it either but I'll be buying it anyway someday.
