Just got a new Mitsu WD-73734 hooked up to DTV HD/DVR

When watching a non HD picture and the screen is "narrow" for the 480p feed from DTV the sides of the picture appear curved. Obviously the glass is straight but the image has a definite curve to it on both sides of the narrowed pic. Any ideas how to adjust this? There is nothing I can do from the menus that are available to me on the remote. But the cureve is distracting and I'd like to staighten it out if possible.
