does anyone have good knowledge of the bose range?

i need to know if the accoustmass bass module lifestyle 48 is able to accept line level inputs from an amp/receiver?

the connecter used by bose looks like an ethernet connecter and has 9 pins.If i could work out the pin assignments i was hoping i could hook my amp up to it like the previous generations do.

im doing this to avoid using the bose dvd/control center .

any help much appreciated.

I understand their box does some serious EQ on the signal to get it to sound acceptable. It might work if you hooked it up to a regular amp, but the sound will probably scare you.
