Starting from scratch while finishing my basement. Please let me know what you think of the components and I would appreciate any other options or comments.
(Components in bold are my current choice)

Specs:
- 5.1 system
- Wall mount speakers
- XBox 360 (component video)
- TWC HD DVR (HDMI or component)
- Possibly a HTPC
- 16' x 40' living area (HT at one end)

PROJECTOR
Panasonic PT-AX200U = $1,299
Sony VPL-AW15 = $1,099 (Takes a really dark room to work well)

RECEIVER
Harmon Kardon AVR-247 = $400
Onkyo SR-605 = $400 (Very close second, but I've heard HK's SQ is better)
Denon AVR-688 = $450 (Not as many features and more expensive)
Integra DTR-4.6 = $500? (Same as Denon)
Sony (I hate my current Sony receiver)
Yamaha (Not a big fan)

SPEAKERS (Front/Center/Surround)
Paradigm Cinema 70 = $340
Boston Acoustics - Any thoughts?
B&W - Any thoughts?
Klipsch - Any thoughts?
Bose (Overpriced. Others sound better)
Any others that I am missing?

SUB
Paradigm PS-1000 = $375?
Need lots of help w/ this category. Any decent subs for around $200?
Any benefit to having the sub the same brand as the other speakers?

Thanks in advance

Taken a look at internet direct for speakers and subs?

HSU, SVS, (those two for subs in particular), AV123, Ascend (only the HTM200s are flush wall mountable), etc. I'd spend some time in the speaker and subs forums.

I would highly recommend you take a look at Axiom speakers (http://axiomaudio.com/index.html) too. Great company and killer speakers at a great price. I love my Epic 60-500 system.
