The KV-32HS600, or the KV-32HS510

I can't seem to find the 600 anywhere, but the 510, I can find.
Are they worth buying over current, slimfit Samsungs?

Like the 27 inch full screen hi def one?

I have a 30" KV-HS420 and it has an unbelievably good picture. I did go into the service menu and use DVE HD to calibrate the color, brightness, and overscan.

I just wish it was about 20" bigger and didn't weigh close to 200 lbs.

Like the 27 inch full screen hi def one?I believe both of those are 4:3 sets. The HS600(HV?) was marketed along with the XBR800 and the HS510 along with the XBR910. The HS600 is the older of the two and doesn't have a digital (DVI) input, while the HS510 does.

I would recommend a 16:9 set and at least a digital input. The 30" and 34" sets are 16:9 and DVI started in the XBRs with 800 and in the HSs with 510 and the XSs. Later models are XBR 910, 960 and 970, HS 510, and 420 and the XS 955s. Each model has a subset of extra features like, TwinView, subwoofer, Super Fine Pitch tube, iLink, memory stick reader, etc. Of course some of the later sets also include the newest options in the line, like QAM and ATSC tuners.

Ahh, yes...HV600.

I think I want that one, as it has DRC controls.

After thinking about it more, I'll just try to find an XBR960

My room has a small door, so I'm limited to TV's that have a depth side of 24 inches.

HV600 looks like the best 32" 4:3 TV

But the XBR960 is easier to find, and looks like the best TV I can get period, forever probably.
