Totally newbie question-time:
My Notebook has Front (L/R), Rear (L/R) and single Center/Sub outputs (3.5mm). I would like to send the signals to my receiver. It has a separate Sub and Center channel input. What do I need to "separate" the single output of "center/sub" on the notebook so that my receiver gets two inputs?
Thanks!

??? The same way you are getting the L/R signals out....buy a cord that goes from 1/8" stereo to two rcas. Pretty common cable at Rat Shack.

Yeah, I don't understand the question. Do you not have 3 outputs total; one for both fronts, one for both surrounds, and one for center/sub?

Yeah, I don't understand the question. Do you not have 3 outputs total; one for both fronts, one for both surrounds, and one for center/sub?As rynberg has implied, each of the jacks takes a stereo miniplug so that it can handle 2 channels: L/R on one, Sl/SR on another and Center/Sub on the third. Each needs a stereo miniplug-to-2RCA cable.

I know, that's what I said (asked). :p
