So I check my mail today and inside is a large package that looks very similar to a package I received back in September - similar to the one that my first set of 5 free HD-DVDs came in. I open it up and lo and behold, they sent me the discs again so I received my 5 free discs twice! I first sent in for them in the middle of June and after waiting a while I called in August to complain and soon afterwards they sent me the discs although at the time they sent me an extra copy of U-571 (which wasn't in the package today).

Now I'm not sure what I should do with them but I imagine this won't please those that are still waiting for their discs and I'm not sure why they decided to send me the same movies twice.

Well, the honest thing to do would be to call them up and send them back. Or, buy an HD DVD player for someone and use them as gifts. I'm sure you'll get a few different answers though...

That's what I would do and I bet they will tell the OP to just keep them.

That's what I thought of doing. It was an obvious mistake on their part and sending them back means more HD-DVDs for others to enjoy. :)

how long did it take to get your first five free?

Sent for them in the middle of June, got them towards the beginning of September. I had to call in for them but I guess an error on their end made them send them to me twice.
