Yes I believe it is. There may NOT be a Bourne Collection coming out to HD DVD (except in the UK). I am hearing conflicting reports on this now.

Hope this is the same set that comes in a safe deposit type casing and passport.

Amazon will simply bundle the 3 movies together.

I pre-ordered it yesterday. Total cost came to $62.97 with expedited international shipping to Canada (approximately $58 Cdn). Not a bad deal.

And if there are custom fees, it should still be below the cost of buying all 3 in Canada including taxes.

Somehow I think even the UK set of all 3 isn't going to be a box set either. amazon.co.uk has no picture and very little information. If it was the fancy box set with the extras I'd order it. Chances are if we want any of that extra stuff, we will just have to buy the DVD box set (In addition to the HD versions). Right before Ultimatum went to theaters I got a neat 2 disc DVD set for under $10 at best buy. I really want the passport tho :)

I was just looking at this last night to ship to Canada, I originally had Stardust and Bourne Ultimatum in my cart but shipping was putting them equal to the Futureshop price....so I saw that they had an HDDVD set and by adding that instead of the standalone the shipping stayed the same (about $6 per item with only 2 items, gets cheaper if you order more) which seemed like a pretty good idea as I only own the first 2 movies in DVD not HDDVD.

PS...isn't that red line nice to read....:)

You can watch the fight scene from Identity. That one in Ultimatum was cut way way too quick. And the sound stage punches sounded cartoony.

And the car chase in Supremacy is better than Ultimatum's too.

Besides that all 3 are awesome. But I want a box to hold all 3.

got an email 2 days ago saying it had been delayed, noticed it was pushed out from the 11th to the 13th

now I get another email today saying it's been pushed out to the 19th (which is strange as it still shows as the 13th on the amazon site).

This is quite annoying, as I have it in a large order and being in Australia I had to go the really expensive courier option to get the discs before Christmas (some of them are presents).

The 13th would still make it in time, no chance with the19th :confused:

We’ll have another situation like we had last year where there were no HD-DVD players during the most critical shopping season of the year. If this happens, I won’t be surprised… disappointed, but not surprised.

No.

Ultimatum is still a combo disc.

Notice in the picture I posted (from the Bourne Trilogy page on Amazon), Ultimatum is just the normal combo being released.

Amazon is bundling together the standalone releases, nothing special.

I had previously pre-ordered ultimatum but saw this on HTguys.com and ordered it. Nice find even if I do have to wait a little longer.

I was considering just selling my copies of the first two movies and ordering the trilogy since the third film alone will likely cost me $30 in stores, but I don't know now. When the hell is Amazon going to land on a date to ship these things?

I just preodered one with an estimated ship date of 12/13. One hour ago.

So is the actual release date getting pushed back, or is it just Amazon is having a hard time fullfilling the orders. This Tuesday, will I be able to walk into best buy and pick it up?? All I need is Ultamatum.

No, this isn't a boxed set at all (as has been stated repeatedly) it is nothing but a bundle of the two already released HD DVDs plus the new one. It is no different than buying the three movies individually (at a higher price).

I work at blockbuster and we just got a box set for the Bourne Trilogy. Its for DVD though so I don't know what this will mean for the HD DVD release. I'm hoping it will be boxed though because the set really looked cool!

FYI, I just got the 'Shipped' email from Amazon for the trilogy.

I ordered mine 2 hours ago with 2 day shipping, and they're processing the shipment now. I noticed that if I used the supersaver shipping it wouldn't even go out until Monday. Funny how that changes when they ship it. I'm crossing my fingers that it'll show up on Friday.

Mine arrived yesterday and is indeed all 3 films still in original shrink wrap with white stickers over the UPC code. Peels off easily, so if you are giving these as gifts the recipient will think you paid top dollar!

I ordered on Wed night. Shipped on Thursday and arrived today(saturday). Now to get my wife to sit down and watch the first two so I can watch the 3rd one!
